I have to tell you, we are thrilled to be done with weddings! Since 2016 we hosted almost 100 weddings. Lots of work. It was fun and rewarding but we’ve had enough.
Life is much less stressful now that we don’t need to prepare for barn showings and weddings. The barn once again full of horses and hay bales. We have 8 horse shows on the calendar for this summer.
We just returned from Maui; I’m going to play golf in Scottsdale in a couple of weeks. Vacationing in Wyoming in May and Alaska in August!
I don’t know how we ever had time to work and host weddings!
The restroom was a complete blessing.
Our wedding guests absolutely raved about how wonderful it was to have such nice facilities. And financially, we came out way ahead.
Including the cabinets, mirrors and faucets, we paid about $53,000 for the completed trailer.
Over 2 years we saved over $18,000 in rentals of upscale porta potty units.
Plus the depreciation on the restroom trailer provided almost $10,000 in tax refunds over 2 years.
And we sold the trailer for $42,000
No regrets.
